Erect herb; stem terete, slightly branched; leaves shortly petioled, ovate-lanceolate, obtuse or acute, obscurely or deeply crenate or sessile; heads corymbs.

Distribution : Common

Uses :  Roots used in diarrhoea, leucoderma and as vermicide; flowers used in rheumatic pain and conjunctivitis.
