Local name : Chirata (As.)

Annual herb; leaves opposite; flowers pale-green, tinged with purple, in terminal corymbose cymes; fruits ovoid.

Distribution : Occasional in northern parts of the state.

Uses :  Stem used in stomach disorders, skin diseases, vermicide and fever.
