Local name : Gaj-pipali, Hati-pipali (As.)

Large climber; stems rooting at the nodes; leaves ovate, oblong or oblong-lanceolate; flowers hermaphrodite, all fertile; fruits fleshy, berry.

Distribution :    Sporadically, occuring in forests.

Uses :  Fruits used in cough, fever and sleenomegaly.
