Family : Lamiaceae

Local name : Ban-tulashi (As.)

Aromatic herb with quadrangular stems; leaves ovate-lanceolate; flowers small, white or pale-purple in panicles.

Distribution : Common as roadside weeds, occasionally grown.

Uses :  Leaves used in cough, bronchial congestion and hiccough; seeds used in constipation.
