Local name : Tokmah (As.)

Herb with quadrangular stem; leaves opposite, lanceolate to elliptic; inflorescence racemes, terminal; flowers white; nutlets ovoid, subtrigonal.

Distribution :    Occasionally cultivated.

Uses :  Leaves used in skin diseases and used as carminative, laxative and as diuretic.
