Nymphaea rubra Roxb.

Local name : Ronga padum.

Large herb; root stal rhizomatous; lamina sharply sinuate toothed; flowers red or rose; seeds buried in pulp.

Distribution : Sporadic.

Uses :  Roots used in diarrhoea, dyspepsia and piles.

Uses : Corms used as vermicide and in piles.
