Tree with slender branches; leaves distichous, ovate-lanceolate, with three basal nerves; flowers yellow, usually 3 on axillary peduncle; drupes fleshy, didymous.

Distribution : Occasional in forests.

Uses :  Leaves used in bleeding piles and as haemostatic and antiseptic.
