Erect or procumbent glabrous herb; leaves broadly ovate, entire, margin undulate, base tapering into petiole; flowers greenish in dense axillary clusters.

Distribution :    Grown as ornamental plant, also found as escape.

Uses :  Shoots used in menorrhagia; leaves used on cuts and wounds as styptic.
