Family : Amaranthaceae

Local name : Mati-kanduri (As.)

Herb; leaves ovate-lanceolate; flowers greenish-white, in axillary sessile spikes.

Distribution :    Commonly growing as weed in vegetable gardens, wastelands, and along roadsides.

Uses :  Leaves used in dysentery and liver disorders; roots used in spermatorrhoea.
