Alocasia indica (Roxb.) Schott 

Family : Araceae

Local name : Man-kachu

Stout coarse herb; leaves green, triangular, sagittate, margin slightly undulate; spathes pale yellowish-green with faintly foetid smell.

Distribution :    Occasionally cultivated.

Uses :  Rhizome used in ulcer of tounge; leaf juice used in otorrhoea.
